Things to consider when buying Nofence.
What you are using Nofence for?
Nofence is best suited for conservation grazing and other extensive field grazing where supplement feeding installations are not used. It is not recommended to use Nofence on lactating dairy cattle, or other animals depending on supplement feeding through a fodder hedge/going in for milking regularly. This will cause unwanted wear and tear on the collars.
Do you have mobile network coverage?
AT&T, T-mobile and Verizon mobile networks covers most of the US, but some locations don't have good coverage, we advise to have a look at the coverage map to see if your fields are in a good mobile coverage zone.

Frequently asked questions
1.How long does the battery last?
This depends heavily on the grazing method, size of pasture and the animals behavior. In general, the cattle collar batteries will last throughout the whole grazing season. On Sheep and Goat collars you will probably have to change batteries during the grazing season. On smaller pastures, where the animals are typically within 10-12 meters’ reach of the fence boundaries for longer periods, the batteries drain faster.
2. How Accurate is the Nofence Boundary?
The grazing boundaries will fluctuate somewhat. Unlike a physical fence, which represents a fixed and absolute hindrance for the animals, Nofence works as a zone. The reach of the zone depends on two factors:
3. How Big can a Nofence Pasture Be?
The Nofence pasture can have a maximum of 39 Nofence posts, and the pasture must fit within a square of 6.4 km (longitude) × 6.4 km (latitude).
